Step 2: MCAT

How many people remember taking the SAT or ACT’s? Those who remember it I am sure you remember the neverending grind on preparation to score well! Those who do not know what they are, they are standardized tests that test the students knowledge in English, Math, Science, and Reading comprehension. Pursuing the medical path means you have to take a test similar to it but instead it tests you on knowledge that medical schools are interested in such as the life and physical sciences and critical thinking. So study up on those topics! Total scores range from 472-528. Aspiring students should plan on taking the MCAT the year before they begin applying. Generally students begin studying for it a year in advance so pace yourself accordingly!
